This is a free service and there are three ways that you can search the Insolvency Service's database of authorised insolvency practitioners (IPs).
by forename, surname, firm name, town and IP number,
county; or
country.
To search by forename, surname, firm
name, town, IP number, or a combination of these, enter the information
you wish to search for in the boxes provided, using the tab key or mouse
pointer to move to the next box.
When you have entered your search criteria click on the button marked
'Submit' directly below the form and the search results will be displayed.
To search by county or country you
should make a selection from the appropriate drop-down list by clicking on
the button to the right of the form
field which will then display the locations that are available.
You should then:
scroll down the list until you locate the location you wish to search for
click on it to make your selection, then
click on the 'Submit' button directly below the search form you are using to display the results of the search.
