Car World Direct.com Limited was incorporated on 24 May 2007 as CWD.com Limited, on 13 December 2007 the company changed its name to its present style.
The Company Traded in the sale of used motor vehicles but ceased to trade in approximatley April 2008.
On 9 December 2008 officers of Companies Investigation Branch were authorised, pusuant to section 447(3) of the Companies Act 1985, to commence enquiries into the affairs of this company.
Following enquiries carried out by Companies Investigation Branch a petition was presented on 24 April 2009 by the Secretary of State for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform for the company to be wound up in the public interest.
On 24 June 2009 a winding up order was made against this company and the Official Receiver was appointed liquidator.
A Report to Creditors will be issued by 19th August 2009.
